FIND AN ADULT DAY SERVICES CENTER IN MEMBERSHIP WITH CAADS

Listings are organized alphabetically:

      First by COUNTY

      Then by CITY

      Then by CENTER NAME

CAADS members hold a valid state license, agree to abide by a Code of Ethics, and are screened and approved for membership by the CAADS Membership Committee.

While each adult day services program is unique, CAADS Members share common values: respect for the uniqueness and strengths of each individual, and support for choice and independence.

Each day center designs its own menu of services, but all programs provide age appropriate therapeutic activities, a nutritious meal, social services, and a customized plan of care for each individual. Transportation is provided or arranged.

Most programs help families communicate with health professionals and assist with information and referral.

ADULT DAY HEALTH CARE (ADHC) /
COMMUNITY BASED ADULT SERVICES (CBAS)

(Medical Model)

Search ALL ADHC / CBAS centers licensed by the State of California

Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) centers are licensed by the California Department of Public Health as health facilities.

Most ADHC centers then become certified by the California Department of Aging as Community Based Adult Services (CBAS) to serve Medi-Cal beneficiaries.

All ADHC / CBAS centers are required to provide the following, based on an individual participant's needs:

  • skilled nursing care
  • physical therapy
  • occupational therapy
  • speech therapy
  • skilled psychological services

ADULT DAY PROGRAM (ADP)

(Non-Medical Model)

Search ALL ADP centers licensed by the State of California

ADP centers are licensed by the CA Department of Social Services, Community Care Licensing Division (DSS-CCLD).

In July 2014, the DSS-CCLD launched significant changes to their website facility search feature. For each licensed facility, viewers now see:

  • the number and dates of state inspection / compliance visits
  • number of Type A and Type B citations issued
  • number of complaint allegations substantiated and inconclusive
  • a map with the location of the facility
